LOL @ the picture next to the MacArthur Bible.

  2. Pat says:

:) He actually came out with a MacDaddy Bible. I won’t link to the professional anti-Catholic, but I will joke about him.

  3. I don’t know who did the artwork on that Danny book, but nice placement of that sticker, fo sho.

  4. Hey I love Johnny Mac–seriously. After all John MacArthur helped make me become Catholic once again!!! (For Tim Staples it was Jimmy Swaggart but I digress…). But it is actually true to quite an extent. After 35 years in other circles, at least 25 either charismatic or other evangelical, I returned to the Faith in 2005 (at age 49, I am 55 now) and then entered RCIA to become confirmed. Since I already “had the Holy Ghost” during my Assemblies of God days I had of course skipped that “useless” sacrament… Anyway earlier that year after TONS of Calvinist type radio Bible studies, I one day heard him speak on how he believed Blessed John Paul II was burning in hell. He didn’t say those exact words but, the question was apparently asked to him “is the Pope in heaven” and he said, “Well I just answered, is the Pope Catholic???” You could audibly hear his “flock” laughing to this statement. Imagine, this was a few short weeks after JP2 had died, and they were literally joking and LAUGHING about his (or anyone’s) being in hell. And all because he was Catholic!!! No possiblity that he may have “repented” from the whore of Bablyon on his deathbed even. Well that was a huge push towards Rome for me and I already was being nudged even before this time. During my RCIA time I had previously gotten a ticket to see King Johnny when he was coming to town a few months before (you actually had to pay!) and so I still went–almost the entire 2 days was spent telling us how much of a “ho” the Blessed Mother was…and he let loose on Catholics far more than even his “polite” radio broadcast had done. No he did not use that word but he surely might as well have!!! His words and attitude sickened me and were just spewing sentence after sentence of disgust towards Rome. Thankfully I had my Rosary along and so I pulled it out and prayed it in the church sanctuary between sessions. Finally I left. But not before he signed my MacArthur Bible. I had to get something for my money after all. There is always EBay…

  5. Patrick says:

Thanks Richard for stopping by. I actually have a link to MacDaddy damning JP here

  6. Mike X says:

I have a John MacArthur King James. And yes, the name says it all. I would read the footnotes, but I want to know what God is trying to say, not what John MacArthur wants me to understand. Ex. For Matthew 16;17, there is no footnote about Isaiah 22, Imagine that :)

  7. Camile says:

Love your work. I’m now a big fan!

  8. Patrick says:

    Thank you, Camile.
