Why is BRENT STUBBS your “comrade” (and publicly bragging about it) and what are the rest of us??? Sub-comrades??? Just subs??? No, your blog does not offend me–but this does.

  2. Patrick says:

    Those are really good questions.

  3. Richard Gerard Evans says:

Plus I knew Russ Rentler before you did.

  4. Brent Stubbs says:

Who is that Brent Stubbs guy? I mean come on, he’s a nobody. At least put him on your JV comrade squad. Patrick, I’m done with your blog.

  5. Patrick says:

It’s bizarre how guys show affection for others by insulting them. We talk trash about others, but when they leave the room we all say how great he is: “That guy would take a bullet for me, he’s awesome.”

  6. Richard Gerard Evans says:

How come no one ever insults me??? Am I suddenly (or not-so-suddenly) not “one of the guys” either??? I am done too.

  7. the dude says:

    Ricky,

You are a real piece of work. Boy, if I ever met you in person, the only thing that would rightly accompany our meeting is advil and text message to an ambulance service. The cell phone would be on me. Welcome to the club, bro!

  8. Rich, you knew me when some of these guys were getting their drivers licenses (like 5 years now )

  9. Scott says:

Wow! I’m a Comrade now. I sure hope this affiliation doesn’t prevent me from becoming a permanent deacon. It just might reflect poorly on me…please don’t let my Bishop know. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that I’m just now beginning my journey into the diaconate and I have nearly 5 years to disassociate myself prior to ordination if need be.

    Thanks Patrick,

    Scott

“I just found your blog, and then fell in love. Pretty much at the same time.” BRANDON VOGT, AUTHOR, SPEAKER

Just what does this mean anyway? Was your blog a dating service at one time?

  12. Wow. I just realized that you actually placed my blog here! Thanks, comrade!

  13. Gino says:

I love you Patrick Vandapool! lol

Nothing like common sense and satire rolled into one.

  14. You added me!!! Next to Pope Benedict and Johnny Mac that is about the best endorsement I could ask for. Seriously thanks. Lots.

PS–this thing about Gino loving you. I have known Gino for years on Facebook. He has yet to love me. I am resentful…

  15. Gino says:

LOL. I love you Mr. Evans! HAHA! :) )
